We have noticed a vast difference this year and are attracting a bigger buyer market that has more spending power. It is more like a mall than an exhibition, the crowds have been bigger than ever and the interest we have received is outstanding. DIJW is the preferred location in comparison to other trade shows in the region. It is one of the starting points of the business season to launch new products and the way DIJW do their marketing and brings the customers, makes it the prime location in the Gulf. We will definitely be here next year, but in a bigger way.

We participated in DIJW as we were rebranding as an upmarket brand and have had a fabulous turnout at the show. I think Dubai market on the whole is growing, which is one of the many reasons why we’ve had so many customers. We have received visitors from Bahrain, Kuwait, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the UAE and been able to close sales every day, especially big bridal jewellery sets.

The exhibition was wonderful! There was a diverse range of companies and novelty products. The prices were very suitable and the organisation was excellent. We have bought diamond pieces from different exhibitors for the value of around US$60,000 and have placed orders for more. I will definitely come back next year.
