| The Orphic – a luxury homegrown label showcased as the official Lifestyle Partner of VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show 2019. Co-founded by sisters Mariam and Amna Almualla, The Orphic presented its latest collection, “The Art of Escape”, at this year’s show. The collection is inspired by the stories of the women of the UAE who have transformed through the decades into the force that they are today: the women of now! The signature pieces are embroidered artistic canvases of different landscapes in the UAE, from the rose gold ripples of sand dunes in the northern emirates to the pale blend of greyish brown sand in the south. Visitors at VOD DIJS 2019 got to admire the exclusiveness on offer and marvel at The Orphic’s captivating collection at the exclusive catwalk show in partnership with Damas yesterday November 14th, 7:00pm. In a short period of time, the team led by the two sisters has succeeded in designing elegant designs that are unlike anything else in the fashion world.
